Ready to let your imagination go wild? Then join Dr. Nigel Channing in his lab as he explores how the 5 senses can capture the imagination. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? But what happens when you throw in a purple dragon, named Figment, that is full of imagination and mischief?

On this slow-moving, but imagination filled journey, you will find out! This ride is full of color, crazy antics of Figment and all around fun for all ages. There are no height requirements on this ride, but there are dark areas that could affect the younger ones.

While  you’re riding, you’ll learn about the 5 senses, but watch out for the smell lab – you might just get into a smelly situation. Figment, the lovable purple dragon is full of fun and light-heartedness to make this a perfect ride for everyone.

After your journey with Figment, spend some time in ImageWorks – the What If Lab! This sensory lab will let kids of all ages explore their senses  to their heart’s content. They can lead an orchestra by waving their arms in the air. Or let them create a symphony of sound by jumping on the “stepping tones”. They can even record themselves in slow-motion and design their own “figment”

Journey to Imagination with Figment is located in Epcot’s Imagination pavilion and is a delightful way to spend have some silly fun (while also learning a bit along the way). Be sure to plan some time here because you never know – “What if……………. Everyday could be fun!”

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Each trip begins with the planning, which can take up to a year, beginning with how to get the grandkids excited about their upcoming trip. They have surprised some of them the day before they left, while the latest one had “presents” every 10 days starting at 90 days all leading up to an exciting trip with her parents along also. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
