Many people focus on a Disney vacation as one for families and for those with young children. And while it is true that experiencing Disney with little ones is magical, I can also say that one of the best Disney World trips that my family ever made, was the year that we took my parents who were both in their 70s at the time. We definitely did some things differently in order to accommodate their needs, but it was a truly special and magical vacation for us. Should You Buy Disney’s Memory Maker?
Last week we talked about how Disney’s PhotoPass works and as you may recall, it’s a great way to make sure that your memories are captured by photographers all around the parks. You also may recall that once you get home, you can decide which of the many photographs that were taken, you would like to keep and then purchase the downloads at a cost of $16.95 each. Which, if you think about it, could get pricey in a hurry if there are a number of photos you want to keep! Enter Disney’s Memory Maker photo package as a way to keep all of your (potentially hundreds of) photo memories at a great value. Read more
Disney’s PhotoPass Service
Disney has created the ultimate way to capture your memories around Walt Disney World with Disney’s PhotoPass. This photo service allows the entire party to be in each picture rather than always missing that one person who is the one taking the photographs. In this way, you get to have everyone in your party standing in front of Cinderella Castle or Spaceship Earth – or many other places around the parks as well. There are PhotoPass photographers located at the entrance of each park, and throughout the parks as well – including at the Character greeting areas. Read more

While I like them all, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will always hold a special place in my heart. This was the first roller coaster I ever went on, way back in the day. When you board your train car, they tell you to hold tight for the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness”, and a wild ride is definitely what you get. Read more

I have had six separate friends contact me in the past couple of weeks about Disney trips they’ve already planned or are intending to plan in the upcoming months. With everything going on at Walt Disney World these days, it’s no wonder so many families are gearing up to experience the magic themselves. Read more
