Walt Disney World recently completed a major expansion of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, with the addition of the Gran Destino Tower – and after touring it last month, I can tell you that it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous! Inspired by the adventurous spirit of great Spanish explorers and historic innovative Spanish artists, writers and architects, Gran Destino Tower is now the main entrance for Coronado Springs and added 545 new guest rooms (including 50 suites!) to the 1,800-plus existing rooms at this resort.
One of the things that I especially loved about Gran Destino was, of course, the attention to detail. With a blend of classic Spanish influences, imaginative Disney touches and modern comforts both inside and out, everywhere you looked – from the gorgeous two-story lobby to the outside murals – was incredible.
And of course, the two “main men” were featured in a stunning mural in the lobby. 🙂
There’s no doubt in my mind that Walt would completely approve of the new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!
