Looking for a little peace and quiet in the midst of a busy day at Epcot? Look no further (and you WILL have to look) than Katsura Grill. As you enter the Japanese Pavilion, you will notice a few steps on the left leading up to what appears like a tea house. You have to look carefully but once you find it, you’ll be rewarded with a lovely spot to relax away from the crowds, where you can enjoy some delicious Japanese food.

Inside that tea house, the Katsura Grill – a quick service dining location – is a great place for teriyaki, sushi, chicken salads and more. You can also find Japanese draft beers, sake and wine available, along with soft drinks and tea. There is a child’s menu with teriyaki chicken & vegetables as well as juice or milk and a cookie. There is seating both inside with large tables, and tables under the front porch. In addition you will find umbrella tables outside in the open area patio. You are completely surrounded by greenery and the pond, which adds to the ambiance. While there, you can find one of the most relaxing Koi ponds I have ever seen, with Koi the size of catfish!

An added bonus! There is a small un-crowded bathroom in the back corner!

When you visit Katsura Grill, be sure and spend some quiet time walking around the Koi pond, there are several paths to follow, and it is a lovely and relaxing place to visit! (Just don’t tell anyone else about it, ok?)

Find out how the FREE services of a Disney World travel agent can make planning your Disney vacation simple and STRESS FREE!

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Each trip begins with the planning, which can take up to a year, beginning with how to get the grandkids excited about their upcoming trip. They have surprised some of them the day before they left, while the latest one had “presents” every 10 days starting at 90 days all leading up to an exciting trip with her parents along also. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
