Wordless Wednesday: Disney at Home!

A great way to bring some of the “Disney Magic” home can be as simple as a coffee mug! The Disney Stores sell a lot of fun souvenirs, just like the ones you’d find at the parks! Fragile items can be a pain to travel with too. So why not treat yourself to a Disney souvenir before your next trip!

Find out how the FREE services of a Disney World travel agent can make planning your Disney vacation simple…and for a limited time, get a FREE Disney gift card when you book your trip with me! ($2000 minimum package cost)

Karen grew up in the Boston area and traveled to Disney World many times with her parents and sister. Always staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins gave the trips a feeling of a home away from home. It also started the tradition of attending the Hoop Dee Doo Review on each trip! Somehow that show sparked her interest in the Disney College Program. Which she did in the fall of 2002, working as a hostess @ Captain Jacks in Downtown Disney. Now as an adult, Karen finds herself traveling to the parks on a yearly basis! Photography has always been a hobby of Karen’s, but over the past few years it has become her passion. It’s even taken her to her favorite place! The Make a Wish Foundation sent a family to Disney for a week and Karen was lucky enough to be their photographer of choice! She got to tag along and photograph their memories being made. She hopes to get that experience again someday! You can find more of Karen’s photography on her site www.KPportraits.com.

Disney Penny Pinching Fun

One of the biggest challenges in keeping costs down on your Disney vacation is that souvenir budget. It often seems like all the planning that you do on every aspect of your trip can get totally blown when faced with a totally adorable….and totally overpriced….Disney souvenir. Which is why it can be really helpful to know in advance, some great ideas for some really fun and awesome souvenirs. Today’s article is about one of my favorite affordable Disney souvenirs, something that costs just over 50 cents, offers a good deal of fun involved in getting it, and can provide a great commemoration of your Disney trip……pressed pennies.

With pressed penny machines located all over the parks and resorts, there are enough design options to satisfy the “collector” in anyone. Kids especially enjoy the process of squishing pennies and parents truly appreciate the ability to encourage their children in collecting a souvenir that won’t break the bank (sorry but I couldn’t resist that pun 🙂  ) Read more

What Does a Disney World Travel Agent DO?

One of the most common questions that I get from people is “how can using a Disney travel agent help me?” And I think it’s a fair question, especially from the many folks who have never used a travel agent before. The thing is, there are lots of things I am able to do as a Disney vacation specialist, to help folks with their Disney vacations, whether you are a Disney veteran, or this is your very first trip. With this in mind, since this question is asked so frequently, I thought I would take today’s blog post to re-run an article that I wrote last year.  🙂
