Many resorts offer such beautiful holiday displays that they’re worth a visit – in fact, one of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to take a morning or afternoon away from the parks to visit the resorts and see their gorgeous Christmas decorations. I’ve made my way out of Tomorrowland and skirted around the back past the Tomorrowland Speedway and behind the Mad Tea Party on my way to New Fantasyland. Speaking of which — do you ever wonder if they will ever stop calling it “New” Fantasyland and the entire area will just morph into one cohesive “Fantasyland”, or if it will stay this way and be like a New York/New Hampshire/New Mexico type situation? One of the best things about the Holiday Season at Walt Disney World is the decorations. Every park, every resort, every shop and dining location – all are decked out in imaginative, beautiful, and fun decorations that of course are themed to the location.
