Exploring Disney: It’s Tough to be a Bug!

If you are looking for a casual walk into a cool area and a place to sit in a comfortable theater, It’s Tough to be a Bug at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is definitely the place for you! Wordless Wednesday: The Tree of Life Awakens

As Disney’s Animal Kingdom adds more “nighttime” things to do at this park, one of the most delightful additions is the nightly “awakening” of the Tree of Life. Each evening after nightfall, every 10 minutes or so, flickering fireflies magically appear  on the Tree of Life and they “awaken” all of the animal spirits that are carved into the tree’s towering trunk. It’s beautiful and mesmerizing and definitely something to take a few minutes to watch.
