Big Blue Pool – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
The Big Blue Pool lives up to its name as one of Walt Disney World’s largest pools, and it has plenty of fun splash play areas for little ones. The whole area is themed to Finding Nemo, including characters like Crush, Squirt, Marlin, and Nemo. If you dive under the surface, you can also hear the underwater sound system.
Dig Site Pool – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
This secluded pool area makes it feel as if you’ve happened upon some ancient Mayan ruins with a beautiful Mayan pyramid – and of course a water slide and nearby hot tub for guests to enjoy.
Fuentes del Morro Pool – Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
This is exactly the kind of pool I would have loved as a kid, because who doesn’t want to pretend to be a pirate? The pool is themed to a colonial fort with areas where kids can climb to the top and use water cannons on those below, or enjoy the two water slides. The pool area also includes two hot tubs.

Lava Pool – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Nothing says ‘tropical getaway’ like swimming around a volcano, right? This pool offers a water slide and a tiki-themed splash play area for kids. It’s also hard to beat a pool and hot tub with a view of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom beyond it.
Stormalong Bay – Disney’s Beach Club Resort/Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
This enormous pool is really more of a pool complex, with plenty of space, a lazy river, a shipwreck-themed waterslide, and a sand bottom. This is definitely the kind of pool where you could spend the day playing and relaxing.
