Exploring Disney: Rocking Out on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

I am the first to admit, I am not a roller coaster fan – the thought of turning upside down and sudden drops absolutely scares me. That being said, I have ridden Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster three times (well technically twice, since once I actually took the “chicken walk”), and while it was fun, that is plenty for me!

For you brave folks, this is quite the experience – from the moment you walk into the studio and see Aerosmith right in front of you, it was awesome. Then listening to the music through speakers right at your head level in the limo was incredible. Each limo car has its own tune, so you never know what you will hear, making each ride unique.

So the idea behind this attraction is that you are leaving the studio and Aerosmith has arranged for a limo to take you to their concert – but oh no, you are running late. No worries though, the limo driver knows the way and can get you there in record time! The limo takes off and in less than 3 seconds, you will be doing nearly 65 mph, while experiencing almost 4.5 Gs – what a way to get through Los Angeles traffic!

Along the way you will experience two rollover loops and a corkscrew, while watching the neon signs along the way. Watch for some of the iconic road signs as you wind your way to the concert hall. Will you make it in time!?

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is for guests over 48” tall and without medical or back issues. With all that in mind, it is suggested for tweens, teenagers and adults.

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Each trip begins with the planning, which can take up to a year, beginning with how to get the grandkids excited about their upcoming trip. They have surprised some of them the day before they left, while the latest one had “presents” every 10 days starting at 90 days all leading up to an exciting trip with her parents along also. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
