Several years ago, I begged my hubby to see Mickey’s PhilarMagic on our Disney vacation. He hesitated, as he wasn’t keen on watching a show, he is generally more of a ride person. Finally though, near the end of our Magic Kingdom adventures, he finally gave in. And as a HUGE Donald Duck fan, boy was he surprised – I didn’t give anything away about Donald beforehand!
When you arrive at the PhilharMagic, you’ll be invited to come on in, bring your “opera-glasses” and have a seat in the concert hall for a larger than life 3D show. Goofy will be there helping to set up as only Goofy can do – LOL! And when the curtains open, there’s Donald asleep on stage. When he sees Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat, he of course has to try it on – which is when the adventures start!
This show is almost a 4D show with the sights, sounds and smells and don’t be surprised if you actually feel what is going on! On your adventure with Donald, you’ll find yourself in scenes from Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and other recognizable Disney classic movies.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a show for all ages and has no restrictions. It is a must do for our family – especially my husband who is now a huge fan! The 12-minute show and huge theater keeps the lines fairly short, but Fast-Passes are available.

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
