Port Orleans Riverside is divided into two areas: Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Bend. Alligator Bayou is a complex of two-story buildings with a more rustic bayou feel to the décor. Magnolia Bend is made up of several manor-style buildings along the bend of the river that flows into the resort, and the décor in these rooms is more ornate.

There are also a variety of dining options at the resort. For a casual sit-down dinner, guests can visit Boatwright’s Dining Hall, or get quick-service, southern-style food at the Riverside Mill. Or consider relaxing with a drink at the River Roost lounge, which is also the venue for the popular musical entertainer Yehaa Bob.
While Port Orleans Riverside features bus transportation to all four theme parks and Disney Springs, one of the nicest things about this resort is the relaxing boat transportation between this resort and Disney Springs.
The resort is located just north of Disney Springs, and is an easy walk – or short boat ride – to its sister resort Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter.
