The Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is a true hidden gem that we stumbled across a couple of years ago. We were looking for someplace to occupy the kids for a few minutes in EPCOT, and allow us a break before tackling World Showcase. What a pleasant and fun surprise!

When we walked in and were seated, I was expecting a couple of short cartoons and some giggles. What we found was three great 4D films that kept all of us laughing – from the 5 year old up to and including the grandparents!

Be sure to grab your 3D glasses as you enter the theater and then sit back and enjoy watching Mickey, Minnie and all their friends come to life before your eyes. This 18 minutes film festival can be a much needed (and fun!) break that the entire group will enjoy, as you relax in a comfortable air conditioned theater!

And take a few minutes to check out the exhibit before you enter to show, to learn a bit about the process of making these films.

The Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is for all ages and heights. The theater does become dark for short periods between films.

Debbie and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. They both are huge Disney fans and try to visit the most Magical Place on Earth at least once a year, if possible. They are enjoying taking each of their now 10 grandchildren and hope to also take their great granddaughter in the near future. One of their favorite trips has been visiting Disney with adults only, including one trip when their son proposed to his girlfriend. Each trip begins with the planning, which can take up to a year, beginning with how to get the grandkids excited about their upcoming trip. They have surprised some of them the day before they left, while the latest one had “presents” every 10 days starting at 90 days all leading up to an exciting trip with her parents along also. Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
