Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing and if you have never visited Disney World during this time of the year, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about. Well, lots of deliciousness to start. Plus there’s wine. 🙂 You can also learn a great deal from the many seminars and demonstrations. You can rock with the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

It’s almost a requirement to get your family photo in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom when on your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, but did you know there’s much more to see inside the castle? Unless you’re lucky enough to win a night in the Cinderella Castle Suite or scored reservations at Cinderella’s Royal Table, you may not even be aware that you are able to walk through the castle at all. As much as I love walking through the castle, it’s not something we’re able to manage every trip due to the timing of frequent closures that occur when shows are taking place near the castle. When it comes to special events – and especially when it comes to Halloween – Disney sure knows how to throw a party. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, held on select nights through the fall at Magic Kingdom, is tons of fun overall, but the crown jewel of it is the Boo to You Parade. Considered by many to be the best parade put on by Disney, not just by me, I promise, this parade is absolutely breathtaking, and something I don’t think anyone should miss if at all possible. While there are many, many things I love about Disney World, EPCOT’s yearly Food and Wine Festival is probably in my top five favorite things to do. Because really, who wouldn’t love to eat (and drink) your way around the “world”?
