Adrift with Disney: 75 – The Magic Number for First-Time Disney Cruisers

One week from today, I will be just 75 days from my cruise on the Disney Dream. If you are a first-time Disney cruiser like me, this number will be very important to you. Seventy-five days is the time at which your final balance is due (for stateroom categories 4-12), and it is also the day that you must register your passport information, you can book excursions, and you may book special dining experiences, spa treatments and kids club reservations. The Balance of Disney World “Old” Traditions and New Surprises

Most people who visit Disney parks on a regular basis are used to the question about why they go back again and AGAIN. Disney’s FastPass vs. Waiting in Line

Call me crazy, but Disney’s fast pass service is something that we have never and will never use. For some, this is the most convenient and efficient way to see everything that Disney has to offer. I can remember vacationing to Disney as a little girl and standing hours and hours in anticipation waiting for our turn to ride. It made waiting for the attraction so worth it.  It was what made Disney for us… well, Disney. You stand in lines and you wait. That is how we have always seen Disney. Now that Disney has fast pass, you can get your stub and return to the line later with little or no wait. Read more
