What Do You Do When Your Disney Plans Go Haywire?

Being a mom who has raised her kids Disney, I have cherished every moment with them while all the while knowing that one day I would not be traveling with all of them as they would eventually grow up and create lives of their own. I have been very blessed to be able to travel with all three of them for all these years, as my oldest is now twenty-six. Read more

Happy Thanksgiving From The Affordable Mouse

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you from all of us here at The Affordable Mouse. We wish you and your family every good blessing and we are so very thankful to have you join us today!

I personally have so much to be thankful for this year. Fresh off my very first trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth this past spring, my husband and I began planning our summer vacation. We decided on San Diego, with Sea World, LegoLand, and the zoo in our sights. However, the CityPass tickets we purchased offered us, much to my delight, three days’ admission to Disneyland. Although we did not set out to plan a second “Disney” vacation, I began planning in earnest only to find there wasn’t much in the way of advice, etc, for Walt Disney World’s sister park. It seems as if everything online is geared towards Walt Disney World.  The result: this short series of articles on planning your Disneyland vacation! Read more
