Terrific Tuesdays: Epcot’s Italy Pavilion

The Italy pavilion is one of my favorite places to visit at Epcot.  The Venice replicated architecture alone is exquisite.  Gorgeous bridges, gondolas and fountains adorn the pavilion, as well as the beautiful gardens spread throughout.  There are no rides or major attractions found in the Italy pavilion other than the daily street performers and the occasional meet and greet with Pinocchio, it is truly a place for romance, peace and rest. On June 15, a five year renovation at Disney California Adventure finished with the opening of the new CarsLand and Buena Vista Street projects. Announced in 2007 with a price tag of $1.1 billion, the project was undertaken to improve a park that did not live up to expectations when it opened in 2007. Read more
