
Everyone who visits Walt Disney World knows about the parks, the water parks, the hotels, restaurants and Disney Springs. But there is another lesser-known part of Walt Disney World called the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and if you visit Disney as part of a youth sporting event, Run Disney race or other sporting event, you may have a chance to check out this place too! Terrific Tuesdays: Getting Frozen
While it’s been a few years since the “Frozen sisters”, Anna and Elsa captured the hearts of little girls everywhere, they are still super popular at Walt Disney World, and everyone wants to know how to meet them! Happily, Disney completed construction on the new Frozen Ever After ride at Epcot, this past summer, and now it, along with their nearby “meet and greet” at their Royal Sommerhus, provides Guests of all ages, the chance to see the sisters, along with Kristoff, Sven and of course, Olaf. Disney with Little Ones: Why You Should Plan Ahead – WAY Ahead!
Without a doubt, there’s something to be said for spontaneity. I fantasize about making reservations at Disney a week or month in advance and showing up without a care in the world, without attempting to book those FastPass+ options or dining experiences. Maybe someday. Maybe when the kids are older. Maybe when we have more disposable income. Maybe if we’re ever able to make multiple trips to Walt Disney World each year. Maybe, maybe, maybe, but for now- that’s just not who I am or something my family can do. As of right now, we only go every other year.

Happy New Year! I hope that 2017 is off to a great start and that you have some pixie dust coming your way. Now let’s go back in time again and settle back in to my trip report. We’ve been through our adventurous first day, celebrated my anniversary with Cinderella, enjoyed my actual anniversary with exceptional Mexican food and some magical drinks, and fulfilled my dream of trick-or-treating through Magic Kingdom on actual Halloween.
