An important part of my recent visit to Walt Disney World was to check out everything associated with the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While there was a great deal to experience in this new “land”, important highlights for us were the two rides – Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Rise of the Resistance. We greatly enjoyed both of them, but it is Rise of the Resistance that is the latest Disney attraction that is getting all of the buzz, and is causing the most discussion online, as this incredible ride has a unique process for riding it. When you think “dining” at Walt Disney World, chances are you may immediately think characters, buffets, and Mickey waffles. And while meals at the Disney parks and resorts can include all of those, the wonderful thing is that many don’t. Exploring Disney: 999 Happy Haunts…..Plus Room for One More
Located in Liberty Square, the stately Haunted Mansion is definitely more than meets the eye! As you approach the house you will find several intriguing hints of things to come inside. There is a musical crypt, a leaky tomb and even a ghostly writer! There is also a cemetery as you walk along the stone path – and be sure to check out the tombstone writings and I bet there will be more than one giggle! Exploring Disney: Everybody’s Got a Laughin’ Place on Splash Mountain
Splash Mountain is one of the “mountains” of Magic Kingdom. This fun attraction takes you on a ride through a southern bayou where you may see your favorites such as Br’er Rabbit and Br’er Fox. It will also send you plummeting down 5 stories into the briar patch, but don’t worry, you won’t get too wet – unless you are sitting in the front row, then you can get really wet! Read more
