Greetings Disney Friends! It’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve had a Disney blog 
round-up, since last week we were in the middle of our Disney Memories Giveaway. What fun that was, reading the wonderful memories from our writers…and from all of you! Thank you so much for participating and sharing such special moments in your lives: that’s what Disney is all about, isn’t it? 🙂

As you count down the days until vacation, the excitement grows, as does the anxiety, as you begin to think about all you’ll be leaving behind. This is especially true if you’re a first time Disney traveler, and it can become quite stressful. Allow me to offer some suggestions and solutions for some of those potential problems:
There is a great family attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and that is Toy Story Midway Mania! Wildly popular since its opening, it is still the ride to make a mad dash to upon park opening as the wait can often climb to an hour and a half and Fastpasses are usually completely gone by noon.
With a heat wave over a large part of the United States, I thought Brenda had a great idea for “thinking cool” yesterday, when she highlighted the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. So here is Part Two….a Christmas in July photo of the Magic Kingdom’s Castle lights….visions of magical icicles that are guaranteed to get your mind off the heat, and get you thinking about the Holiday Season that will be here before you know it! 🙂

In just four short months something super spectacular is going to happen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The 2011-2012 run of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights will begin and will bring joy to thousands of people this year. If you have never experienced Walt Disney World at Thanksgiving/Christmastime, let me encourage you to be a part of the celebration this year. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights will be running from November 10, 2011 through January 3, 2012.
