Wordless Wednesday: Doorway to a Magical Journey

One of the most exciting parts of a Disney cruise is the beginning: taking those first steps through a magical doorway that leads to who-knows-what-kind-of-adventure on the high seas? Oh….and the fact that the doorway to the Disney ships is shaped like giant Mickey ears is more than a little cool too. 🙂

Tuesday Disney Tips: Free Fun at Your Disney Resort

As my family has grown older we have come to appreciate more and more the offerings around our chosen Disney resort when we are having some down time. As you can see from this picture, lying around in hammocks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has been a relaxing thing for my teens to do, and I really enjoy lounging on the beach there as well.

When visiting Walt Disney World many people can agree the food is considered an attraction on your trip. People spend hours planning where they want to eat, what time, what they should eat and many people even look up pictures to see what the food looks like. :0) While there are so many restaurants on Disney property it is impossible to visit all of them on one trip. I don’t know about you but I have my favorite food items at each restaurant from appetizers to desserts I can’t possibly fit it all in. In my recent research on popular food staples throughout Walt Disney World I came across some information that shows in some cases an expensive table service restaurant and a counter service restaurant can carry the same items for very different prices. The only difference is going to be presentation. You may be served your favorite dessert on a paper plate or minus the garnish. Enjoy!!

Wordless Wednesday: Staying Cool at Disney’s Hilton Head Resort

Nothing says “cool” like an awesome pool. 🙂 And the Big Dipper pool at Disney’s Hilton Head resort is the perfect place to have some cool fun, while enjoying this beautiful resort. And when you are ready for a change of pace, no worries, there is a second pool just up the road…right next to the gorgeous sandy beach. Just a couple more ways to “get cool”.
