Yes Halloween was just the other day. But the elves at Disney have been busy for weeks with the work of preparing the parks for the magic of the Disney holiday season. Lights are up on Cinderella Castle and decorations are being added all around the parks and resorts as you read this. Creating this kind of magic takes a little time. Terrific Tuesdays: Taking Selfies
Disney made a rule awhile back that selfie-sticks were no longer allowed in the parks. While I am not a fan of the selfie-stick, I can see how they can be helpful at other places rather than the parks. But in the parks, I am so glad Disney enforces the no-selfie-stick rule. These can be very annoying when watching a show and dangerous on rides, especially on low clearance rides. Read more
Disney with Little Ones: Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
Thanks to Hurricane Matthew, our Fall break plans changed at the last minute. Instead of staying on the space coast the night before heading out of Port Canaveral on our cruise vacation, we ended up staying one night in Ocala. Our cruise ship’s Sunday afternoon departure was delayed a couple of hours to allow people a little extra travel time. Walt Disney World is about halfway between Ocala and Cape Canaveral and when we put 2 and 2 together, my husband and I realized that we were suddenly presented with the opportunity to give our little boys a special Sunday morning Disney surprise.
