Most people think of Walt Disney World as a family vacation destination, a place for kids to have fun and grownups to have fun with the kids……but I’m here to tell you that there is SO much at Walt Disney World that is wonderful for adults too. In fact, my husband and I often comment on our visits about how many great “date night” options there are in the ‘World’.
One of our favorites is World Showcase in Epcot. Here you can dine on food from 11 different countries, try some tasty beverages along the way, enjoy great entertainment, and if you time it right from mid-August through June, you’ll likely be there during one of Epcot’s great festivals – the Food and Wine Festival, the Festival of Holidays, the Festival of the Arts, or the Flower and Garden Festival. Each festival offers additional food and drink options, fun entertainment along with educational and interesting talks and seminars. What could be better grown-up fun than all of that?
So if you’re looking for a great adult weekend escape, a lovely romantic getaway, or the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or honeymoon – think Walt Disney World! You’ll have lots of romance waiting for you!
