Thursday Thursday: Packages Delivered to Your Disney Resort…For Free

mugsAmong the many advantages of staying at a Walt Disney World resort property, I especially appreciate the free package delivery. I think we all make time on our Disney vacations for souvenir shopping but the last thing I want to do, is then walk all over the parks with bags or worry about breaking something I am carrying. Free delivery of purchases made in the parks or at Disney Springs takes that worry away!

The process is simple. You just make your purchase, complete a “Delivery Service” form with your name, home address, home phone number, departure date and room number. You then darken the circle on the form for the resort you are staying in and that’s it. Easy as pie! The cast member will tell you when to expect your package to be delivered but, don’t worry, you don’t have to stay at your room all day waiting for the package. The store will deliver your purchased items to the gift shop at your Disney resort. Once delivered, the cast member at the gift shop will call your room to leave a message that it is available. Then, you just take your receipt for proof of purchase and head down to the gift shop to pick them up.

The one thing to keep in mind with this, is that it can take up to a day for delivery of your purchase to your resort….so this system isn’t for those purchases you make on your last day.

With the convenience of package delivery, it is easy to purchase items at the parks and Disney Springs. Best of all, this service is FREE!
