Terrific Tuesdays: The Tree of Life

If you spend any time at Animal Kingdom you will at some time find yourself standing in front of the Tree of Life! The icon is a completely man-made sculpted tree that seems to come to life the more you explore the intricately detailed trunk and limbs.

Standing almost 150 feet and covering the theater for It’s Tough to be a Bug, the trunk is meticulously detailed with over 300 animals including a lion, monkey, pelican, scorpion, dolphin, fish, bear just to name a few. There might even be a few you might not be able to name. Walk around Discovery Island Trails and see how many animals you can count!
