Terrific Tuesdays: The China Pavilion in Epcot

701912_10153526686046234_7104888732247548022_oEPCOT has been my favorite park ever since my first trip in the early 90’s. Throughout the years, things have changed, but I always find EPCOT and World Showcase is where I am the happiest!

The China Pavilion is one of my favorites in World Showcase. Not only is the architecture very vivid and interesting, but it also is one of the coolest places to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere before watching Reflections of China. This 360 degree movie in the round is breathtak12828378_10153526687341234_7957202647620318417_oing as you soar over the Great Wall of China and explore Shanghai, and follow the Yangtze River.

While in the Chinese Hall of Prayer, you can stand in the very center of the room and notice the perfect acoustics. Don’t worry it is very well marked!

As you exit Reflections of China, you come in to the Yong Feng Shangdian Department Store. This is an amazing store with lots to see and buy. On a recent trip, I couldn’t find hubby – LOL – he was trying on one of the many hats pretending to be a lamp! Had to snap several pictures of that!
