Disney Cruise Line: Spas on a Dime

Vacationing on a Disney Cruise is the ultimate luxury! From elegant décor to beautiful ocean views you are sure to feel fully relaxed when cruising. One thing that I found to be particularly enticing about a Disney Cruise was the spa. There are ample opportunities for mom and dad to get away and enjoy a little pampering without having to worry what your little ones are doing. This is all because of the WONDERFUL Kids Clubs and Teen Clubs that the Disney Cruise Line has on board.

I myself have never been to a spa…yeah I know shocker. I just do not have time with three children in my household. Plus to find a sitter and such…it just does not work out. That is why, when I went on the Disney Fantasy I knew I was going to take advantage of the spa services. The only thing I was worried about was the cost. Well I was in for a real treat!!

Each Disney Cruise Ship has a different spa. The Disney Fantasy has Senses Spa & Salon.

Upon entering Senses I knew I was going to LOVE this place…the views of the ocean were spectacular! That alone created a tranquil state of mind for me. The aroma in the spa created an irresistible treat for the senses through natural earth scents. The spa smell reminded me a lot of Aveda products.

I wanted to hit the spa but on a budget so I opted for The Rainforest. Let me tell you I was COMPLETELY delighted with this selection and so was my wallet. Here is the description:

Relax in the Rainforest, a thermal suite with various mild steam and saunas, A Hamman and sensory experience showers.

For extra sensory perfection try the Rainforest DIY Scrub Experience, a custom-designed body polish to slough away dead skin in the Rainforest experience showers. (This is not included in the cost below)

Here is the best part…want to know how much this costs? Drum roll please…….$17!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only did you get the wonderful showers but you also have access to the 2 saunas, the relaxation room, and the HOT TUBS!!! Yep…they overlook the ocean with a real ocean-breeze at your face as a middle paneling of the room is missing to give you a real sense of tranquility. In addition, there were endless helpings of lemon and cucumber water as well as SUPER comfy robes and flip flops. And when you were done…feel free to head on over to the shower room stocked full of product to help you get ready for the evening.

Besides the price the best part of this is it is an entire day pass. You have full access to this service the entire day.

I feel that this was a wonderful use of my relaxing time as well as a wonderful use of my money and what you get for the price is simply amazing to me.  I really love this option because everyone can afford to be pampered at this rate.

I’m just curious, which part was only $17? How did you get the rate? Did you just kinda walk up and it was one of the options?

  3. Kelly says:

Hi Rebecca!! The only part that was not included was the scrub…everything else was included. All you need to do is walk in and ask for the rain-forest package…it is on the menu of services. :0) Thanks for stopping by!!
