Every time I see the balloon guy/girl at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, I can’t help but be reminded of Disney’s movie “Up”…and secretly wonder if these folks ever find themselves…..well…..going “up”? Or does Disney put some magical kind of weights in their shoes to keep them firmly planted on the ground? 🙂

Wordless Wednesday: A Castle Park

Disney completed a redesign of the Cinderella Castle “hub” area last year and it is a lovely addition to this part of Magic Kingdom. A very park-like setting with grass, walkways and benches scattered throughout, this area provides a great place to relax and unwind on a busy day, as well as a great location to view Wishes and the Celebrate the Magic castle projection show.

Halloween isn’t until next month, but Walt Disney World began celebrating last night at the first of this year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties. And as would be expected, all the characters get in on the festivities with their favorite costumes. Of course, Minnie is ready in her finest princess costume…because she couldn’t be anything BUT a Princess for Halloween, now could she?? 🙂
