Disney with Little Ones: Minnie’s Halloween Dine

We just returned home from 8 wonderful nights at Walt Disney World. One of the surprise highlights of our trip that I wanted to share with you today was Minnie’s Halloween Dine. We postponed our trip by one week due to Hurricane Irma landing in Orlando the same day we were scheduled to arrive, and while we were happy to wait for the storm to pass without us there, it meant losing the dining reservations we’d made 6 months earlier. At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Guests have a chance to see a number of shows, events, and even some “friends” that they normally don’t have a chance to see. A number of Disney villains make appearances, and of course many strange folks show up during the “Boo to You” parade, including the famous Headless Horseman.  And if you stop by the Haunted Mansion, you may even see this lovely lady, who could possibly be waiting to find her next husband!

On select nights during September and October, the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Halloween fun-fest during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Filled with Trick or Treaters of all ages (yes grown ups can get dressed up too!), special shows, and the Happy Hallowishes fireworks, perhaps the highlight is the “Boo to You” parade.
