Living with the Land in Epcot is probably one of the most relaxing and soothing rides in all of Walt Disney World – and it’s also one of the most interesting. Located in The Land pavilion, this ride gives the rider a glimpse of how things are grown – including some very unique ways to grow crops – along with how the weather and various terrains can affect the crops and food that are produced on this great land of ours. If you love Donald Duck and The 3 Caballeros (and who doesn’t?), the Gran Fiesta Tour in EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion is a “must do” for you. My granddaughter was so in love with this easy, slow moving ride, we had to ride it 3 times in a row! Poor Donald, it seems that he has disappeared south of the border and it is up to Panchito and Jose to find him.

The first thing you’ll see when you arrive at EPCOT, is what most people call the “golf-ball”. This always makes me smile, because the only thing about it that reminds me of a golf ball is that it is round and seems to sit up from the ground as if on a tee! This giant icon is actually made up of over 11,000 triangular tiles and is 180 feet tall – so it’s quite the “golf-ball” indeed! Read more

It’s called a lot of things, but we’re all talking about the same thing..Spaceship Earth. The icon of EPCOT, this glittering silver ball is what welcomes you into this beautiful park, and is one of my favorite sights of the World. It also happens to contain a must-do attraction I just can’t leave Walt Disney World without doing at least once…or twice…or six times. I can’t tell you how surprised I always am to hear people either talking about this amazing attraction as a time-filler or something they’ll do if they get the chance, or those who are stunned to even find out that there is an attraction in there at all. This attraction is Classic Disney and truly inspiring no matter how many times I ride it. The fact that Dame Judi Dench does the narration is just an awesome bonus. Read more
Somewhat lost a bit in all the news about the New Fantasyland opening…is the fact that Test Track…a huge favorite over at Epcot….is back! And it looks awesome!
According to Disney, the new “reimagined” Test Track puts Guests “at the designer’s table for a multisensory experience as they create their own virtual concept vehicle before boarding a “SimCar” to race through a thrilling series of hills, hairpin turns and straightaways. The attraction zooms in on how meticulous vehicle design influences top performance on the open road and lets guests see how their virtual cars would perform.”
