Thrifty Thursday: Those Awesome Disney Fireworks!

I was talking to a friend recently, who just got back from their Disney vacation. We talked about everything she and her family did on their trip and how much they all enjoyed Disney. When I asked her what they thought of the fireworks shows, she said they had not seen them. Terrific Tuesdays: Wishes Nighttime Spectacular

What is a Walt Disney World vacation without watching Wishes nighttime spectacular show? If it is your first time or your fiftieth, you probably make it a point to watch Wishes. I think everyone could agree the view from in front of Cinderella Castle is amazing! What do you do if you find yourself over in Frontierland moments before the show starts? What if Wishes is scheduled during your fast pass for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? Do not fret there are some equally amazing views from many different areas in (and out of) Magic Kingdom. Read more

Terrific Tuesdays: Fantastic Fantasmic!

Fantasmic! is one of my favorite night time fireworks shows at Walt Disney World.  This show is located at the end of Sunset Blvd. in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The 6,900 seat amphitheater is made of metal benches and has two shows a night on select evenings.  Be warned that sitting near the front could get you wet. There are fireworks, water effects, live characters, cannon explosions and balls of fire.  The water effects show scenes from the movie Fantasia on large water curtains.  Characters display scenes from popular Disney movies, like Pocahontas, and show the battle of good vs. evil.   Read more

My Favorite Disney Things: Iluminations – Reflections of Earth

I don’t know what it is about me and fireworks, but there is something about these nighttime shows of light, and music, and noise that just get me every time. I guess you could say that fireworks are truly one of my favorite Disney things. 🙂
