Disney Outside the Parks: A Disney Car

Have you ever had an event happen where you are concerned about something trivial that doesn’t even matter??  For example, I was in a car accident recently and had to have my car towed. I wasn’t even sure if it would be repairable or if that would be the last time I was in my car.  And as the wrecker was getting into position to haul away my car, I was out there trying to scrape off my Disney Vacation Club sticker, pull off my Annual Passholder magnet, and make sure I had my Cinderella Castle antenna topper that hangs around my rearview mirror.  My husband, on the other hand, was taking the blankets, clothes, and the snow scraper out of my car. Thrifty Thursday: Style Swag

Almost no one ever ever ever looks good at Disney.

Thrifty Thursday: Your Best, Free Souvenir

Pins are awesome. That adorable Elliott over there on the right is one of my all-time favorite Disney things. He shows off my particular brand of Disney insanity and makes me happy when I’m feeling down. 

But I’m not much of a pin collector, really, because they’re so darn expensive. That Elliott? He cost me something like $8. Which is really quite an investment, when you consider the fact that I could have a Mickey bar and a bottle of water for that price.  Read more
