Disney World FREE Dining Returns for Fall 2014

Are you ready for FREE food at Disney World? FREE DINING, the most popular Disney World discount is now available!

Here are the details:

  • Travel dates 8/31/14 – 10/3/14, 10/26/14 – 11/1/14, 11/9/14 – 11/20/14 and 12/12/14 – 12/23/14
  • Must purchase a package that includes a minimum of 3 nights accommodation at a Disney Resort and a minimum 2-day Base Ticket
    Guests at a Disney Value Resort receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Guests staying at a Disney Moderate or Deluxe Resort receive the Basic Dining for free.
  • You can upgrade from the Quick Service to the Basic Dining for an additional $19 per adult per night and $3 per night per child.
  • Book by 8/8/14

Thrifty Thursday: Stars and Pancakes

I’ve done a lot of writing about cheaper eats at Disney World. Especially breakfast, which I love and totally swear by as a way to fuel up before a long day of Park hopping and fun times. 

About a year ago, I first explored thrifty breakfast options at the resort hotels, and then recently we re-examined a couple of breakfast options at deluxe resorts. But in doing all of that research, I missed the biggest, thriftiest breakfast option in Lake Buena Vista: the breakfast buffet at Garden Gallery in Shades of Green Resort.  Read more
