There is just so much to explore at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge that you could spend quite a bit of time here and really not even go to the parks. In fact, I would highly recommend this resort as a place to go to get away from it all for a lovely, relaxing weekend – no theme parks required.
So what all will you find at the Animal Kingdom Lodge?
Visiting the Walt Disney World resorts to see all the decorations is one of the best ways to get into the Holiday spirit: beautiful, imaginative, and amazing, if you are visiting during the Holiday Season, you owe it to yourself to take some time for some resort hopping. One of my favorites is the Animal Kingdom Lodge where the huge Christmas Tree in the lobby includes beautiful and fascinating ornaments from many African countries – and provides some great inspiration for your own tree at home! I am a big fan of taking time to visit the Disney resorts. They are fascinating and fun to check out, with many having activities – to say nothing of great food – that are available to anyone, not just the resort Guests. Two of the best resorts to explore are Animal Kingdom Lodge and it’s sister resort, Kidani Village. Both are LOVELY, filled with lots of beautiful African art and design elements. They both have fabulous restaurants too! But the highlight of course, are the animals. You can observe them from many locations around the resorts, and taking the time to wander around the peaceful paths that surround the hotel, will give you a chance to learn a few things too.
