Accommodations at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are housed in different buildings, each named for different Pacific islands. Rooms can sleep up to 5 adults, and guests can choose from a variety of views that can include the lagoon and the Magic Kingdom.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has a great selection of dining venues. One of the most popular restaurants is ‘Ohana, an all-you-care-to-eat experience with Polynesian-inspired flavors. Breakfast at this restaurant also features a character dining experience with Lilo and Stitch. For a more casual meal, Kona Café serves dishes with island and Asian flavors. Guests can also sample appetizers and drinks from one of the most unique bars around, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. If you only need to grab a quick bite, Captain Cook’s is the resort’s quick-service option. In addition, Guests at the Polynesian also have a variety of recreation options beyond the pool and beach, with boat rentals available for different types of watercraft, in addition to fishing, and boat excursions for small groups.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers bus service to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs. Boat service is available to the Magic Kingdom, and monorail service takes guests to the Magic Kingdom as well as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Guests can also transfer at the Transportation & Ticket Center to take the monorail to Epcot. The resort does not typically share buses with any other resort, and so has direct transportation to the theme parks.
