When asked to write about my favorite thing at Walt Disney World, the answer came very quickly to mind. A lot of us have a favorite attraction, restaurant, park or resort. I can name several attractions that I love more than another and the same with a resort, park or restaurant, but those things don’t even come close to my most favorite thing at the most magical place on earth. My Favorite Disney Things: Josh’s List of Favorites
When we took our first family trip to Walt Disney World, my youngest child, Josh, was six. Next week, he will be graduating from high school and I have been spending every waking moment reminiscing about how wonderful these years have been. What a blessing it has been to raise him and just simply to have him in my life. He has grown up to be a sweet, caring, funny young man with a wonderful personality and he just happens to be a lot of fun to spend time with at Walt Disney World as well. Read more
My Favorite Disney Things: AFI Showcase Shop
You may not believe this, but I am not the stereotypical female. I don’t like talking on the phone, I will not stop to ask for directions until I have exhausted every single option, and I HATE to shop!
When I visit the parks, I am there to ride! I love to ride and I don’t want to waste my time shopping around the stores to find things I could find online or at Downtown Disney on a non-park day. I decided to start a new series this week called “My Favorite Disney Things”, where I, or one of our other wonderful writers, shares a special thing we just LOVE at Walt Disney World. It may be anything: an attraction, a souvenir, a snack or restaurant…there is so much to love at Disney World, so we figure this series could go on for years! And of course, we are The Affordable Mouse, so our emphasis is going to be on things that don’t cost much, if anything, so that should make it even more fun! 🙂
So today’s inaugural edition is featuring a true favorite of mine: The Magic of Disney Animation, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Read more
Princesses With a Plan: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
My friend, Susan, and I are really looking forward to our girlfriend trip to Walt Disney World this September. One of the things we are exceedingly excited about is seeing the Magic Kingdom all decked out in Halloween decorations. We have never been during Halloween but I can tell you from past experience that the Christmas decorations are outstanding to say the least. Read more
