There is nothing like Halloween at Disney World. My favorite holiday by far, Halloween is something deeply ingrained in my heart, but being in Disney for it awakened that love to a new level. If you have the incredible good fortune to be heading to Disney during a time when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is in swing, I can’t stress enough how much I recommend buying tickets to go. There are many reasons why this is always one of the best nights of the entire year, whether we go when the calendar says it’s still officially summer or make the pilgrimage to be in the Magic Kingdom on Halloween night itself. It’s March and it’s Spring right? Well when it comes to Disney, it nearly is: with the opening of Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival next week, Spring will truly be springing at Walt Disney World! Showcasing gorgeous flower displays and Disney character topiaries throughout the park, this is possibly the most beautiful time of year to visit Epcot. If you are visiting this year, you will want to plan plenty of time as there are a number of offerings at the Festival that have no cost beyond your park admission!

Other than Halloween at Disney World, very few things in life are as wonderful as Christmas in Disney World. I will even relent and say for many families, the holiday season in the World is probably the absolute most magical experience. In a place where the air is already filled with magic and happiness, and wonderful things happen all the time, adding Christmas to it just puts it over the top. There are countless fabulous things to do during the holidays in the World to give you the warmth in your heart, but the centerpiece for many joyful celebrations is the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and within that, is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The parades of Disney World are fairly legendary as it is, and there is something truly spectacular about the special holiday parade. Full of sparkles, scents, and snow, you can’t help but get a little jolly watching this parade. Read more
