As I talked about on Tuesday, it is often necessary to go through bag check at the Disney parks. This is especially necessary if you have young ones for whom you must keep supplies, as well as on the days when you are taking your lunch, planning to ride wet rides thus negating the need for ponchos and dry socks, or when you plan to have your camera with you, just to name a few instances. If you are touring on a day when it is just inevitable, here are some helpful hints to save you some time and trouble.

Thrifty Thursday: Making Double Use of Your Disney Time
On Tuesday I shared some really fun and FREE things to do at your Disney resort. Today, I am going to talk about killing two birds with one stone by doing a not-so-fun task while you are enjoying your resort. I hate to say the word, but it’s LAUNDRY.
I realize that not everyone does laundry while on vacation, but I can tell you from experience that a lot of us do. There are several reasons I do our laundry in the middle of our trip:
Tuesday Disney Tips: Free Fun at Your Disney Resort
As my family has grown older we have come to appreciate more and more the offerings around our chosen Disney resort when we are having some down time. As you can see from this picture, lying around in hammocks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has been a relaxing thing for my teens to do, and I really enjoy lounging on the beach there as well.

When visiting Walt Disney World many people can agree the food is considered an attraction on your trip. People spend hours planning where they want to eat, what time, what they should eat and many people even look up pictures to see what the food looks like. :0) While there are so many restaurants on Disney property it is impossible to visit all of them on one trip. I don’t know about you but I have my favorite food items at each restaurant from appetizers to desserts I can’t possibly fit it all in. In my recent research on popular food staples throughout Walt Disney World I came across some information that shows in some cases an expensive table service restaurant and a counter service restaurant can carry the same items for very different prices. The only difference is going to be presentation. You may be served your favorite dessert on a paper plate or minus the garnish. Enjoy!!
