I have decided to share something with you from my most recent trip to Disney World. One day we decided to use our counter service credit at Toy Story Pizza Planet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you could imagine, the menu is made up of almost all pizza. Adults get a personalized sized pizza, a salad a drink and a choice of a cookie or Mickey Crisped Rice treat for dessert. One of my favorite Counter Service locations in Walt Disney World Resort is the Boulangerie Patisserie located in World Showcase – France. Past the Bistro de Paris and the Chefs de France entrance is an absolutely awesome pastry shop with a variety of tarts, mousse, eclairs, quiche and croissants. There is also ham & cheese croissants, quiche and sandwiches available. As you pass through a stone entrance you’ll find one of the best counter services available with such a variety you’ll find yourself stopping by here often. Read more

Terrific Tuesday: Top Ten Most Fun Things at Disney World – Number 5: Biergarten

Of course we all love food. So, it wasn’t a surprise to me that we had at least one restaurant on my kids’ top 10 most fun things to do at Walt Disney World. Number 5 is dining at the Biergarten, which is located in the Germany Pavilion.
I made our ADR several months ahead of time, and one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant was for my father. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War and I have often heard him talk about schnitzel and other famous foods of Germany and how he would love to go back. I always try to pick at least one restaurant for each member of our party (usually 7 of us). Read more
Dining at Walt Disney World: Via Napoli
My family and I had the absolute pleasure of dining for the very first time in the Italy pavilion at Epcot a few weeks ago. Via Napoli was our restaurant of choice and I have to say I was quite impressed with everything at this dining location.
Being from Chicago where authentic pizza is readily available to me at the push of a button and formerly working at an authentic brick oven pizzeria in Chicago, I went into this dining experience ready to review. I have to be honest; I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. Read more
