I sometimes wonder if Walt Disney had a fascination with water. It certainly seems that way to me. Or maybe it’s just me. But with the many interesting fountains, and water areas at Disney World, I am always finding something to make me stop and watch for a minute. These fountains that spring UPwards near the Journey to Imagination Pavilion at Epcot are a perfect example. I just stand there in amazement and wonder: “How do they DO that?”

Wordless Wednesday: Looking Up at Disney World
One of the things that I learned on our recent trip to Walt Disney World was to always remember to “look down and look up”….because you will see the most interesting things that you never knew were there when you do! Wandering around World Showcase, I remembered to do this…and discovered a lovely orange tree in Morocco…with oranges! What a fun surprise. 🙂
Wordless Wednesday: A Sweet Disney Steed
Meet LuLu. She is/was one of the carousel horses this past Christmas season at the Beach Club. Having amazing decorations at many of the resorts is a Disney World tradition, and one of my personal favorites is the Beach Club carousel. Partly because the detail is amazing (check out the not-so-subtle shout out to Beaches and Cream’s Kitchen Sink on her back). Partly because I have always loved horses and carousels. And partly because I love chocolate even more.
And LuLu is/was made of chocolate. Completely.
Be still my heart. 🙂
But what I REALLY want to know is: What happened to all that chocolate when the Christmas decorations came down????
Wordless Wednesday: Ready or not Disney World, Here We Come!!
This picture pretty much says it all…… 🙂
We leave for Disney World tomorrow morning! I will be sharing some of the highlights on our Facebook page over the next few days, so if you want to follow along to see what it’s like to celebrate the New Year at Walt Disney World…then be sure to stop by to see how things are going! And I will, of course, share some trip reports with you after we get back!
Hope you have a wonderful and magical New Year! See ya real soon!
Wordless Wednesday: Oh Disney Christmas Tree!
One thing you will notice when you visit Walt Disney World during the Holiday Season is that there are Christmas trees…..everywhere. Big ones, little ones, shiny ones, whimsical ones, classically beautiful ones, you name it, they’ve probably got a tree like it somewhere at the parks or one of the resorts. One of my favorites is always this one on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom that actually doesn’t get set up until after the taping of the Christmas Day parade in early December. Love those gingerbread ornaments!
