My 12 Days of Christmas, Disney-Style

(Editor’s Note: As Christmas is one week from today, I am taking the liberty of re-running a favorite Disney/Christmas post from years past – since I have yet to receive any of these gifts, maybe this year it will finally happen. I mean, a girl can hope, right? 🙂 )

Disney with Kids: Magical Mail

Have you ever noticed that there are multiple vintage mailboxes on Main Street at Disney’s Magic Kingdom? The United States Postal Service has loaned these antique mailboxes to the Walt Disney World Resort and they are real, working mailboxes that cast members empty each and every day.  A fun fact – the beautiful cast iron mailboxes (like the one in the photo) were manufactured in Bridgeport, Connecticut in the early 1900s – that’s right around the time our beloved hero Walt Disney was born!
