Exploring Universal Orlando’s CityWalk

Universal Orlando CityWalk is a dining, shopping, and entertainment district adjacent to the resort’s two theme parks, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. The area is right between the two parks, which are only a ten minute walk from each other anyways, so it’s easy to throw in a visit to CityWalk while you’re visiting the parks. Walt Disney World recently completed a major expansion of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, with the addition of the Gran Destino Tower – and after touring it last month, I can tell you that it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous! Inspired by the adventurous spirit of great Spanish explorers and historic innovative Spanish artists, writers and architects, Gran Destino Tower is now the main entrance for Coronado Springs and added 545 new guest rooms (including 50 suites!) to the 1,800-plus existing rooms at this resort.
