Happy Saturday and Happy Memorial Day weekend to all of our U.S. friends! As we head 
into this holiday weekend that also is the unofficial beginning of summer, we honor those of our armed forces who have given their lives in defense of our nation. However you are celebrating this weekend, I hope it’s a wonderful one! Enjoy the cookouts, and to those of you traveling…stay safe!!

When asked to write about my favorite thing at Walt Disney World, the answer came very quickly to mind. A lot of us have a favorite attraction, restaurant, park or resort. I can name several attractions that I love more than another and the same with a resort, park or restaurant, but those things don’t even come close to my most favorite thing at the most magical place on earth. I decided to start a new series this week called “My Favorite Disney Things”, where I, or one of our other wonderful writers, shares a special thing we just LOVE at Walt Disney World. It may be anything: an attraction, a souvenir, a snack or restaurant…there is so much to love at Disney World, so we figure this series could go on for years! And of course, we are The Affordable Mouse, so our emphasis is going to be on things that don’t cost much, if anything, so that should make it even more fun! 🙂
