Art of Animation: Landscape of Flavors

When traveling to Disney World a HUGE part of the fun is eating!!  It is important to know that when you are at Disney World there is not a shortage on food and plenty of good food at that. Recently my family and I had an amazing 10 day stay at Disney’s brand new resort, Art of Animation. I have to say that everything about this place is amazing including the food offerings.

Let me first say that if you are a picky eater you may need to get a little creative in this food court but it is possible to find offerings for everyone. Landscape of Flavors is a very high end food court option in fact I believe it to be the best food court simply because there is nothing here that I would call ”fast food”.

Disney did very well with the theme, they have four themed areas of the food court; Lion King, Cars, Nemo and Little Mermaid. In each area you will find theme inspired decor and ambiance.

The Food

The food here is outstanding! The options are high end and plentiful. Check out our gallery of pics below. My favorite dish was the Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich…SO GOOD! And I also really enjoyed the Create Your Own Pasta. Quick Tip: You can share the pasta as it is a HUGE portion..it will save you money or a Dining Plan Credit.

Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich

Create Your Own Burger

Pastrami Burger

Create Your Own Pasta

Pistachio Gelato

Rice Crispy Treats

Mickey Cupcake

Strawberry Cheesecake

The Extras

Food Courts on Disney property have a lot of extras for those staying. One high-lite area for guests is the refillable mug station. Art of Animation did not skimp in this area because it is HUGE!  In addition to having pop refill stations you will also find, a coffee station, hot chocolate, coffee condiments, lemons, iced tea, and a toaster.

So, are you hungry now? 🙂

One of our favorite restaurant is Ohana at the Poly. This past Oct hubby and I did an adult only trip to WDW/DCL and we stayed one night at AoA. The food court there is awesome. We loved everything we ate there. And the resort itself is awesome.

We love to eat at Narcossee’s, it is our all time favorite. However, I LOVE the chicken strips at WDW, don’t know why. So I look forward to both each year!

I’m not sure which restraunt I’m most looking forward to eating at. This trip I’ll have my granddaughter with me and a young lady that this is her first visit. We will be dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be our Guest. I know that they are both looking forward to dining at these places. I think that I’m most looking forward to dining at Via Napoli.

We are not big restaurant people, so we just ate where ever and whatever was convenient for us. I missed my opportunity last time, but next time I will get one of those cupcakes from Staring Rolls!
