Thrifty Thursday: Pictures at Disney!

12032906_10153181388731234_4551865714417875298_oAs anyone who has been to Walt Disney World knows, there are photo-opportunities everywhere! Throughout the park, you will find places marked as Picture Spots, which make for fantastic shots. These are strategically located spots that can give you the most bangs for your picture. You will also want to capture those first time grins and smiles for those young and young at heart!

A good way to capture your visit and those special moments is to enlist the help of the PhotoPass Photographers located throughout all the parks. You will find them close to the entrances and at varies other areas. Have a little fun when getting your picture taken: the photographers can add different elements into your pictures to make things even more fun. There will also be a Cast Member taking pictures at the character meet and greats. We have found the Cast Members to be very helpful and willing to also take a picture using our camera or phone. Not only will you be able to capture some awesome smiles, but everyone in your party can be included in the photos! For those of us who seem to always be behind the camera – this is a very welcome option.

To collect all these great pictures, order a Memory Maker early and get a discount on the cost. You can save $30 right off the bat by ordering early. Once you receive the Memory Maker, it can be linked to everyone’s Magic Band, so no matter who is together for the day, you can get everyone’s pictures on one DVD. This can include pictures from all over the park, the Meet & Greats with the characters, Character meals, even some ride pictures and videos….anywhere you see the Disney Photo Pass signs.

This trip coming up will be our first time using the Memory Maker, so I can’t wait to share how it works with everyone. I am excited because we will have someone with us on their first trip to Walt Disney World and a possible engagement sometime that week. I really want to capture all these special moments for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
