The Joy of Disney Mail

As we’re counting down to our next trip, little bits of Disney are already arriving to make us anticipate our trip even more.  We’ve gotten a magnet and some brochures reminding us to customize our Magicbands and set up FastPass+.

We got the Disney box with a small flash drive with tidbits and hints on how to use your Magicbands.

Funny thing though was we didn’t get one of these for our first trip with the bands, but we got it for the 2nd trip with the bands.  We’ve found that you can reuse the flashdrive to bring that special magic with everyday.

Then of course come the Magicbands themselves.  You typically get these 14 days before you travel based on when your last day to customize the bands. Ours will be coming soon which will bring a huge smile to my face!

But you can get Disney mail even when you aren’t planning a trip-

Have you ever ordered anything from the Disney store online?  Did you take time to enjoy the Tinkerbell and pixie dust decorating the inside of the box?  I remember a few years ago the box was delivered with the Tinkerbell on the outside. I’m guessing they started reversing the box to cut down on thieves taking the boxes that were left sitting on the porch.

Recently my husband bought a 2 disc CD of a collection of Walt Disney World Attraction music that he’s seen at World of Disney.

We tracked this package for days waiting for it to come- it sounds just like the hold music when you call 1-407-wdw-dine.  It has so many songs to help with those Disney urges as it feels like you are walking through the parks.

On Disc 1, you start with the steam train entering Magic Kindgom, walk down Main Street USA, and continue to the left through Adventureland, etc.   On Disc 2, you continue your journey through Epcot and World Showcase, go to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios.  You get to listen to music from “It’s a Small World”, “Haunted Mansion”, “Splash Mountain”, and “Twilight Zone Tower of Terror” just to name a few.   I’ve found that it works as good “decompression” music after a hard day of work.   Since we will be making our 16 hour drive in a month, this is going to be good traveling music.
