Terrific Tuesdays: Taking Selfies

14615601_10154117314601234_8291656238732626980_oDisney made a rule awhile back that selfie-sticks were no longer allowed in the parks. While I am not a fan of the selfie-stick, I can see how they can be helpful at other places rather than the parks. But in the parks, I am so glad Disney enforces the no-selfie-stick rule. These can be very annoying when watching a show and dangerous on rides, especially on low clearance rides.

With that being said – Disney doesn’t say you can’t enjoy getting selfies everywhere you go! Your arms may not be quite long enough, but that is half the fun. Try a different angle or passing your phone to the person in the front! Not only is it a great way get the picture taker in the picture, you would be surprised what other things show up as you gather together to get everyone in the picture!

On a recent trip, I managed to get a selfie as we stood in line to get on most rides and sometimes, while just relaxing. I laughed at myself the whole time, but for once, I was able to look back and remember the great time we had because I was a part of the pictures. Some of these were so random and unexpected, they really surprised me looking back.

Do you make a point of taking selfies or rely on the pictures from the cast members?
