Terrific Tuesdays: For the First Time in Forever, Singalong with Frozen

As you most likely know, Disney has made a smashing success out of the movie Frozen. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios they have created a spectacular attraction. For the First Time in Forever : A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. It is now one of my new favorite attractions.

Let me start by saying, I did not have high hopes for this attraction. It was one of those nights when I was making fast pass reservations for the next day. I decided to make a change from my normal selections. Instead of choosing Star Tours, I went for the Frozen sing-along. The next day we shuffled into the theater feeling a little out of place. We were adults, with no children. Thank goodness Disney is one of the few places where it is still okay to act like a child without actually being or having a child.

As the show starts, out comes Princess Anna of Arendale. She is met by cheers and applause. I almost instantly find myself laughing. When the singing begins, with most parents and children alike, I was singing along. Of course when Elsa appears on stage, she is also met but roaring applause. Don’t get me wrong this show is not just singing. All the characters in true Disney style put on an entertaining and funny show.

This show is not just for girls or kids in general. There were countless times I was laughing at the jokes being made. The humor was funny for adults as well as kids. I highly recommend For the First Time in Forever : A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration next time you are at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The shows seem to fill up fast. If you choose to use a Fast Pass for this attraction, it doesn’t guarantee better seats, just seats in general. If you do not select a Fast Pass, I suggest you arrive about 30 minutes prior to the show time to get seats. I hope you enjoy this attraction as much as I do.
