This awesome show originally was never intended to be permanent, but after it firstĀ opened in Camp Mickey and Minnie, it became one of the most popular attractions in Animal Kingdom. Because of the popularity, it ended up as a permanent show. And then when Camp Mickey and Minnie was closed to make way for the construction of Avatar land, Festival of the Lion King was then moved in to their new and permanent homeĀ at the Harambe Theater in 2014.
