On our last trip to Walt Disney World I decided to purchase the Memory Maker photo package. This was not something I had ever done, but knowing my son was going to propose, I decided it could be worth the expense! I was right! Not only was I able to enjoy the moment of him proposing, but I didn’t have to worry about handing off my cell phone or an additional camera to Cast Members for them to take pictures with.
Oh, I used my cell phone plenty to get those “selfies” everywhere, but it was so much fun to have everyone in the same picture and capture those “fun” moments that the Cast Members add to the experience. Once we got back and downloaded the pictures, all the little extras they added just made it all worthwhile for us.
I was really surprised at all the places you can find the PhotoPass Cast Members; not only at the entrances inside and out, and at some of the major rides andcharacter greetings, but just randomly in all the parks. Not only there, but adding the ride pictures were a piece of cake – just be sure to “tap” Mickey to every picture you find of everyone in your group. This was so much easier than picking out the pictures, going up to pay for them and then carrying them around the rest of the day!
I know The Memory Maker is a little pricey, but to me the peace of mind was so worth it. I plan to purchase it again this year, when we take the kids, grand-kids and great-grand-daughter!
What are your thoughts? Do you purchase this every trip or just special times?
