At the Cabana Bay Beach Resort, you can try a few games at Galaxy Bowl, the resort’s very own bowling alley! You can even order in from the Galaxy Bowl’s restaurant. Games are $7.50 per person and shoe rental is available.

When you’re at the Hard Rock Hotel, what’s better than rocking out? For dedicated rock ‘n’ roll fans, this hotel offers the opportunity to check out a Fender guitar for your own rock session (deposit required). Or, you can also spend time browsing all the awesome music memorabilia displayed through the hotel.

Be sure to also catch some extra evening entertainment. At the Royal Pacific Resort, you can catch a torch lighting ceremony complete with fire dancing on select evenings. At thePortofino Bay Hotel, you can also enjoy some Musica della Notte (Music of the Night) in the hotel’s piazza nightly at sunset, weather permitting.

You can also take time to enjoy all the dining options at Universal’s on-site hotels. Several of the resorts also offer character meals at one of their restaurants. The Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Royal Pacific Resort all offer character breakfasts or dinners with popular Universal characters. These are offered on select days only and hours vary by resort.

The resorts also have lots of options for a nice dinner out. Have fine Italian food at Bice Ristorante, try a taste of the south Pacific at Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, or enjoy a classic New York-style steakhouse at the Palm Restaurant. Guests will also be able to try Caribbean cuisine at the new Sapphire Falls Resort’s Amatista Cookhouse, opening this month.

Of course, what vacation is complete without some time at the pool? All the resorts offer fantastic pools, from Cabana Bay Beach’s lazy river and water slide to the Royal Pacific Resort’s Royal Bali Sea water play area. Enjoy a sandy beach and water slide at the Portofino Bay Hotel, and take a listen to the underwater stereo system at the Hard Rock Hotel. Also, if you’re staying at one of these hotels, you can also visit the pools at the other hotels during your stay.
